What glue - Petrol -
What glue will survive being immersed in petrol? I'm going to extend the pick up pipe inside my tank. The original one is glued on to the connection as there isn't a shoulder on it I'll have to do the same.

you can get petrol resistant epoxy I think.

The stuff you get in petrol repair tank kits would do.

what about a compression fitting. B&Q do 8mm and 10mm in their plumbing range. Would work on nylon/rigid plastic tubing with care.

JB weld is fuelproof. I've had some sealing a split in one of my bike tank seams for 15 years now.

Would have thought so, its still holding my Dads fuel tank on his Volvo together after 7 years.
