Wash plug

Hi. I recently bought a secondhand SIB along with a Yamaha 6B 6hp two stroke. Whilst checking it over and changing the gear oil I noticed just above and to the left of the oil level plug another plug named 'Wash'. Anyone know what this is for? I assumed it might be for flushing the cooling water pipes but it'll be a very small hole.

Cheers all.

You need this (or the exact one for your model anyway).
