Will phone MAIB tomorrow for an informal chat and seek their opinion.
The Skipper and crew have filed an internal report and we are already checking our own internal procedures to see what has been learned and what we might have done differently.
No need to name, unless you bought fuel last Friday in Poole, you have no concerns. I am happy that this will not reoccure from the very contrite owner. I have already had a "free" fill and will come to an agreement over lost business/parts. Give them credit, they put their hand up straight away to being responsible.
