Verado 350 Sci

Well the time came for a bit of an upgrade. The lads at Cougar did a great job.
The acceleration is absolutely wild, with top end slightly more than before. Rev 4 21prop, with engine on top hole. This engine needs to be mounted high. 6600rpm/140ltrs hour,60 + knots,4500 rpm 40knots 50-60ltrs/hour.Great engine not for the faint hearted….

Nice Job Tony .. you know my views on the 275 so the 350 can only be awesome .. the thrust is wild aint it ? , my 8.5 was quite light so you really felt it in that boat .. speaking of awesome .. thats a hell of drop in juice coming off WOT

Your next job is to post up in the 'wake shot' section when at WOT , you'll have a line going as far back as you can see if its flat I ended up with the same prop too .. not much in it over the supplied one, better grip in corners I found with the rev 4 .. it slipped a little from the hole but wasnt really an issue, as all the important driving was done at speed

Awesome beast.

Thought it would be a bit better on fuel than that. It is EXACTLY the same fuel per hp as my Suzuki 225 2 stroke at WOT!!!

Be nice to see some exact figures when you have run her in a bit - and the videos as well.

is the supercharger whine very noticeable?

Hi
It is run in now. Just past 20 hours.
Its quite alot louder than the 300,more like a cross between a 4 stoke and 2 stroke. The supercharger whines at 6000+ revs and sounds fantastic. I will try to get some video tonight if i am out. cougar told me the 300 on mine got to 60 in 19 seconds...This one gets there in around 10-12 seconds...

Brilliant - what was your top speed on the 300? The whine does sound quite good there - someone posted a video of a RIB with 2 of them and it sounded terrible - maybe it was the microphone or something.

With the 300 we were doing 67-68mph.

Does that mean you are only getting about 3mph more? I know acceleration is much better but even so.
