Verado 275 to 300 conversion

Does anyone know whether the 275 Verado can be converted to full 300 spec and what parts are involved? Is it just an ECU change?

Seeing as they all use the same block, you'd think not much would be involved. I am thinking though, how do you get the same block to bridge 100hp, from the 200 to the 300 without making either the smallest or largest somewhat inefficient ?

Hi

It cant be done. The performance increase comes from a slight remapping but also a fair amount of internal changes. They have reduced the amount of oil movement in the block and gained a reduction in friction by doing this, they have also changed the gearing in the bottom end.
