User and Service Manual

Can anyone advise where I might be able to obtain a set of User and Service Manuals for a Yamaha 40 HRO outboard. (I tried on the Yamaha Website but could not find it there).

I am assuming the Hro is a two stroke. If it is a model from 1984-1989 this is the one you want.

If later http://marinestore.co.uk/thestore/prods/MD179170.html

Hope that is of some help i can't help with the user manuals.

Guys,

Many thanks for guiding me to the manuals.

Having seen a few of Garfi's other posts I s'pose I can take it. I just thought it was a random plonker having a go!! Sorry!!

I like what I have seen on this forum, I might stick around (if I may).

Nice to see another Falklander on here (I'm only a latecomer to the Falklands) a mere seven years in paradise......

Nothing random about Garfie - wether or not he/she/it has a plonker is something I try not to think about....
There are a few obnoxious gits on here but Garf isn't one of them - he's totally unbiased - he treats everyone with equal contempt!!!

I really am stunned that there is another bog trotter on here - must be about 10% of the population by now....

About 0.1% of the population actually Codders. Which is equivalent to 60,000 Poms on here, how many users does RIBnet have again?
