Tornado 5.3 re-engine

My mate has a Tornado 5.3 with an 80hp Yamaha 2 stroke on the back of it.
He has access to a 140hp Suzuki 2 stroke which he is thinking of putting on it.
Would this make the boat too unstable and would the transom be rated to carry this size of outboard?

I have used a tornado 5.5 with a 75 4Stoke and it goes well enough would think a 5.3 with a 80 would be quick enough for most.

It is most unlikely to be rated to take a 140. should have a plate on it stating what the hull is rated to from the manufacturer ?

The Suzuki is the same weight as a new Yamaha 90 4stroke. If the boat can take the weight it would certainly fly with that engine on it!!!

Its avaliable in the US, They have a 75hp and a 90hp, whereas the 80hp is avaliable in the UK, anyway, the 90 is the same weight as the 80hp, 170kg.
