Tohatsu 15hp 4stroke 2010

How long should it take oil light to go out on this engine,has done less than 10 hours,oil level correct.

Oil light should extinguish within a few seconds if not it could be a pressure switch fault or wiring fault
How long has it run with the light on?

As beamishken says, I've a 20 which AFAIK is identical.
Mind you despite the low hours if the oil has never been changed it might have 'gelled' causing blockages
What's its history ?

Read manual,lights comes on when engine starts to let you know it's working,then goes off.So all ok thanks for your help.
