Tiller fitting merc/mariner 3cyl 50hp 2stroke

Does anyone know if the tiller fittings are the same between the 40/50/60 triples? I just picked up a new one from a 40/3cyl on Ebay for £15 as an emergency backup in case the steering dies-I'll just leave it bolted on with the throttle/gears disconnected. If it doesn't fit I'll just sell it on.

could be worth chatting to the zapcat boys im sure they'll know about fitments - I'm pretty sure most have some kinda maybe hydraulic assistance to help with the torque steering thing youre gonna get from steering a beasty like yours by hand! best o luck, hopefully u'll never need it
