Tell tale

Hi all,The coolant tell tale on my little 6hp is constantly flowing but seems to speed up then slow down all the time is this normal,I cant say i ever noticed it before but i have not really looked at it much,I hope its normal because all being well we hope to go to exmouth tommorow using the mamhead slipway.Many thanks

Almost flooded my keyboard, It's normal, at idle speed less peeing squirt, at thottle more, as long the engine is being well refrigerated it's ok.

6 months old just run in,The flow of water speeds up and slows down on idle.The video sort of shows that i think.

I saw this once on a Suzi 15hp. I think it was due to the thermostat opening and closing changing the rate of flow. I can't watch the video though as its blocked by the internet Nazis at work!

Took the boat out today and all was fine so it must just be how it is.
