Suzuki remote throttle/gear-changer ??

Does anyone know of a heavy-duty throttle/gear-changer to fit a Suzuki 70hp 4stroke?
Our dive club Humber has now had the neutral locking dog lever broken again, this is the second time in a year (we obviously have someone who is a bit heavy handed in our club) After re-routing the cables last year I haven’t had any problems, but today the boat was driven by 3 different people, now it has lots of broken red plastic causing it to jam at times.
Now I've got to get it fixed before next weekend when we take it to Bridport for 4 days diving.
So if anyone has any suggestions of a gorilla proof side mounting throttle it world be appreciated.

Hmmmm!
31 views & no reply, I take it no one has come across this problem before, or there is no alternative other than chop the hands off our gorillas.

Now don't get excited, this isn't a reply but more of a statement.

I get the feeling no one's interested in Suzzy throttles as I never got any response to my question a couple of weeks ago about adjusting the friction of the lever either

One possibility

Hi,

No experience with throttle controls yet,(getting our first boat next week), but I ordered mine with Suzukis own optional level mounted control unit, you can get it for single engine installation also and it is built more rigid than side mounted unit. I also have two extra original side mount units, since they came with the engines anyway, If you still want to use those...
