would a 1985 suzuki dt50 starter motor fit on a 1984 suzuki dt50...??? cheers.

Most of the parts websites list the 84 & 85 starters as the same.

If they have the same number of teeth on the gear and the mounting holes line up, maybe just give it a shot.

You don't have to worry about counter rotating, wrong voltage or much else. If it physically fits chances are it will work.
