Stand & starting my 25 ?

Am planning a run down the river in my Bombard tomorrow and just realised I cant really test start the engine till I get there .

Its not been run for 2 months and while I dont expect it to be a problem I really want to fire it up at home on the muffs.

However I don't have a stand and don't have the room to hang it on the back of the avon. Its too big/heavy to just stand in a plastic bin and hope -I know it would twist itself off when it fires, so I'm wondering does anyone have any genius way of securing it ?

I've thought about workmate somehow or go and spend a daft amount on a stand from force4. I never winterise my engines so a now wondering how i can run it at home ?

Any ideas ? or anyone got a stand they aren't using and want out the way ?

I use a wheelie bin secured - tied to a tree to make sure it doesn't fall over.

Tailgate of a small goods trailer works well.

Or a low garden fence or gate

Welded up a small stand out or 1" box and bolted it to the wall, worked great - untill I removed the wall
