Well tried it out to day, bit lumpy managed 33knots too livery to see that rpm I was getting but his was not wot!!!
Managed to get me up water skiing no problem, the hole shot is just like sh*t of a shovel very very happy!

Good to hear,
guessing you getting a bit of chine at that speed :-)
makes driving the dammed things more "sporty" as we like to call.
Just out of interest what was the engine ? one of the older 2 pot yammie 50's ?
On a side not, i have noticed the amount of extra safety equipment i have on the boat will take the top end down considerably.

Yes it is a bit of a hand full now & you have to be ready to back off if needed as she now will start to chine walk!
One day I will get a chance on a flat see to see what RPM I can get a WOT & speed too!
It is a 3 pot 1998 2 st
