does the optimax smartcraft not have a depth readout??

It does have one, it just needs intergrating. Its in the setup menu 2 I think.

Its a matter of linking your current sounder to your gauges and then telling the gauges that its there, simple enough to do. THe smart craft manual can be found here http://www.mercurymarine.com/otherpr...umentation.php
