Small outboard jack

Does anyone know if a product similar to Jack Plate JPL 4400 Adjustable 4'' Outboard Jackplate | eBay is available in the UK?

That one looks perfect but the postage costs are a bit depressing and it would be nice to source one from the UK.

I have been having issues with water flying up the side of my outboard (see Water gushing up the sides of outboard for full story!) and want to jack up the outboard a bit more as I have a new propeller that has TOTALLY cured any sign of ventilation.

As an aside, the Yamaha 30D is deemed to be a short shaft engine but I measured it last weekend and the shaft is around 17.5" if I am measuring it properly (from top of transom to cavitation plate). Are there engines that are actually 15"?

I am still really tempted to get a 50 on the back as the speed is addictive and it is starting to feel frustrating when there is more than just me on board as you can really feel a drop in speed, but need to sort out the height issue first and think that a jack plate would be a good way of testing different heights without having to drill more holes in the transom.

Any wisdom gratefully received.

Thanks,
Joe
