Hi - new to this but mercury do a replacement Skeg for the alpha's bout 45 quid ish. Best way to do it is to drain all the oil and take the bearing carrier out and remove the big o-ring so it doesnt melt then put the bearing carrier back in loosely to prevent the casing from deforming with the heat then when all done rebuild with new o-ring and lock washer, refit and away you go.
