Service cost Yamaha 250 4-t (2008)

How much do you pay for 100 h service for a Yamaha 250 4-T?

We paid 800 £, and i think it is to much... ???

Take a look at the required operations for each hourly service in the owners manual. Most of them you could do yurself without much trouble at all. Should cut down on expenses if you take the motor in for just an impeller replacement, rather than impeller, gear oil, engine oil, and plugs. Oh, and fuel filter.

100 hour service I'm assuming is in the warranty period, which would rule out self-tinkering.

service

A F250 FULL Service including all MAJOR PART'S ( Engine block anodes , saddle anode , Impeller , plugs , fuel filter , trim top up oil , oil filter , engine oil , trim tab anode , gearbox oil ( Including pressure test , compression test , ignition drop test ) if done properly by a certified tech should NOT be more than £480.00 . . Obviously if the anodes dont need doing then the price drops to around £390.00ish . And this should INCLUDE a diagnostic laptop check and print out . ( IAN CB2 RIBS I HAVE YOUR ENGINE REPORT ) Ian Imet your friend today @ southampton dry stack David as I serviced his NEW 300 V6 on his RIBEYE . WHAT AN AWESOME package that is. You will always find a mechanic somewere cheap on the market but is your engine DONE and SERVICED properly . Barry

Not in the US, it doesn't. I checked.

I did the 10hr at home, had the 100 hr done at a shop, and have done the parts for the successive ones I could and had a shop finish up the parts I couldn't. The shop done 200 and 300 hr services total came out costing less than the 100 hr service.

service

It takes me 3.5hours to do a FULL engine service , after that i give it a wash down ( salt deposits OFF and then a FINAL POLISH ) I CAN say most technicians dont bother about this ( THAT WILL DO ) I have seen and infact MOST engines I do NEVER get washed down after USE and this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo important to keep your CLEAN and flushed out after every use. I serviced a 200 Yamaha TODAY and my customers BILL was £320.00 INCLUDING travel and all MAJOR parts . Im sure you can find cheaper costs around BUT all depends on the type of service and how your engine is LEFT after being serviced
