It takes me 3.5hours to do a FULL engine service , after that i give it a wash down ( salt deposits OFF and then a FINAL POLISH ) I CAN say most technicians dont bother about this ( THAT WILL DO ) I have seen and infact MOST engines I do NEVER get washed down after USE and this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo important to keep your CLEAN and flushed out after every use. I serviced a 200 Yamaha TODAY and my customers BILL was £320.00 INCLUDING travel and all MAJOR parts . Im sure you can find cheaper costs around BUT all depends on the type of service and how your engine is LEFT after being serviced
