selva 80 running too rich

im trying to get my selva to run properly but me and my friend have been stabing in the dark with the mixture screws , some times it would run less smokey then at others it was like a fog machine, does any one know wot aproxamate screw settings should be as a starter i think we left it at 1.5 screws out . ive orded a manual but as yet not got and realy need to know asap so i can get the engine running some wot like normal,cheers for any help left

Selva

Is the selva not a Yamaha with a selva badge?

I would presume any good outboard mechanic would be able to get it right for you?

cheers for that ive a yamaha manual knocking about at hame will look at that to give me a pointer, but if ahyone has a selva manual and could look it up for me i would be most greatful .

air screw opened 1.5 - 2 turns ...
