Sail outboards

Seen a lot of "Sail" outboards on boatsandoutboards recently. The engines look like Yams, and the website says their parts are interchangable. So, are Sail engines rebadged Yamahas or just cheap imported rubbish?

Tim your behind! I bought this up a few days ago, Chinese copies being the conclusion.

ive been looking at the sail outboards myself my freind is going out to have a look at them and if there ok we are buying bulk (a 40ft container full to be exact) so any 1 intrested in buyin 1 or 2

not yet but coming very soon only the 40hp at the min but hopefully by the time we arange the deal we will have some in our container

not yet that was a question raised by us to them but they said you could fit and they will supply us the ptt but not as standard
i think the new 60hp will though that maybe a ideal engine as im thinking of putting 2 on the back of my rib

its the name im concerned about as you cant beat a good looking yamaha sticker
