Quick reminder- marine diesel

Was at the boat today and another operator was running up to The Hamble to fuel his diesel boat as Saturday this week the new VAT comes in and he stated fueling today would save him £100-£200. Hope this reminder is not too late for those who fill up at the pontoons.

Unleaded is coming down rather nicely, 98p @ Asda less another 2p with an Asda credit card.

Yep...even cheaper here. After adding the shopping voucher I can fill up at less than 90p/litreat Tesco right now

It's already here for us. £1.20 a litre!!!! Road diesel is £1.07! WTF!!
My dads boat has two 95 Gallon tanks. Which comes too 864 litres (approx), now when he first bought the boat Red was .27p per litre costing £233 but now it's coming up to over a grand!!!
So it's either lots and lots of cans to and from the petrol station or fitting his 2.5hp mariner on the back!

Current price of petrol without tax and duty is 32p - yes 32p per litre!!! And Gordon Brown has the cheek to attack the oil companies for profiteering...........

I had 800ltrs of Gas Oil (red) delivered yesterday, 50.5p/Ltr.

That's a cracking price. We're trying to get enough boat owners together to order a small tanker in. Also trying to raise funds for a diesel heater, but due to the size it comes in at a big price.
