This was the reason my rib did not proceed at its best velocity on the Solent day out. Still great fun anyway & I've now got a spare prop to wreck as well....

one of my mates has a johnson 70 on a sailer motor and is not get very good revs or speed its a 3 blade but what pitch have you got on yours

Steve,
13 3/4 x 15 - Now damaged but did work very well (30+ kts).
13 1/4 x 15 - New prop on boat - as yet untested, suspect same.
13 1/4 x 17 - new prop - as yet untested, hopefully faster!
