Prop size

How do I work out the ultimate sizing of prop for my boat.
I have a 5.5m rib and a Mariner 60hp Efi with the as delivered prop.
Advice please, as size matters I suspect.
Dave

All very complicated - and I'm sure better answers will come but....

Basicly get a prop that will give the recomended engine RPM (as found in the manual) at WOT (Wide open throtle)

I think it also depends on purpose - top speed (racing) vrs. acceleration (ski-ing) etc

Also Alloy vrs Stainless Steel is another debate!!

have you tried "searching" the forum - often very usefull!

props

run it and see what revs you can get - then come back on with the revs and the prop pitch you have at present. I am sure the lads (& lasses) on here will sort it out for you
