[B]Dirk, be useful and tell us where they are on sale for £200.00 - more like £300 from what I've seen.
"If you take a look at their website, you'll see them advertised for £220.00 + vat. I bought one recently for £200."
And this prop was recommended to me by Steel Developments, in full knowledge of my engine spec and RIB type. They had no caveats such as "expect it to have it's limitations" or "only use at under 30kts", "don't take it cross the channel". They assured me that the Solas Titan is a top quality prop, superior to the Yamaha OEM item.
"Well now, that is suprising isn't it, especially as they are the importer of this make of prop, hardly going to reccomend something they don't sell are they."
You ought to work in a shoe shop as a Saturday job, selling shoes "for indoor use only".
"Never really fancied working at the weekends, make enough money during the week selling "quality" marine equipment to those customers who are in the know."
Then tell me why the original, brand new prop suffered the same problem?
"Maybe coz it's a cheapo prop as explained in previous post."
makes me smile to read that!
"I aim to please."
"Oh, and charles, no one answered as to why they thought you were rich...
