prop for suzuki DF70

I have a DF70 with a 131/4 x 17 prop . I would like to try a 19 . If anyone has one for sale or one that I could try out I would be grateful .

Parkesy,
The one I bought for my boat ended up being too coarse - couldn't get full RPM. You're welcome to give it a whirl, so to speak.

Hello I guess you are back home now . ?
Bloody props nightmare it seems and lots of trial and error . Its ok paying out for one if it does the trick.
Mine is ok but just feels maybe that it could pull a bit more with just the three of us on .
what prop have you got ?

Bought a new 19" pitch, as with my 17, it was hitting 6000 RPM on 3/4 throttle. When I tried the 19, it wouldn't run past 5000 RPM and top speed was actually slower, so I went back to the 17 (18" would probably be right, but Soozook don't make them!).
Shame we didn't meet up last week - you could have tried it on the Valiant then, or I could even have dropped it off with you on my way home.
I was going to put it back on e-bay as it's too coarse for my boat, so no use to me. I already have a few 17s as spares too.

You could get your existing prop altered in pitch by a prop specialist such as steel developments, think its around £40

Yes but if its wrong I have no prop . The one I have is ok and I think its 50/50 wether the motor will handle the greater pitch . Its revving at 5900 at WOT and there seems no load between 5000 and 5900 the revs rise very quickly .

Brad will PM you
