No chance, Roycruse runs a 21"P stainless and gets a nads over 40knts on a good day. IBWET reckoned he was up there running the new Suzuki 150 with a 23"P prop, but the handling was a bit scary.

As said earlier I get 42.5 Knots. Only once though and now I've done it I'm not prepared to push my engine at WOT just to beat that figure.
Really I like to cruise about 30 Knots and would be happy to do that in most conditions without coming unstuck.
Binky if you want speak to Kieron at RIBSHOP he's done a lot of research in to our engines. Helped me anyway.

Drop DJL a PM if you get a chance. He's been a bit quiet recently, but if memory serves he ordered a 585 with Yamaha F150, which Ribcraft reckoned would be pushing the max hull speed, so may be worth asking what he's found.

Many thanks All.

My fuel guage has got stuck on full...anyone know of any tips to get the thing to read correctly again?

If anyone's out in the Solent on Sat i will be around, if anyone fancies a beer lunchtime at the Folly. Weather is looking good so far.
