Please Help trim and tilt motors options?

Appologies about all of our threads on this but..

Can anybody tell me if a 80-120hp, 1996, Mariner, trim and tilt unit will work on a 60hp Mariner outboard, again 1996?
Both trim and tilt units are identical on the outside, not sure if the weight of the 60hp will effect the power trim and tilt operation as it will be lighter than an 80-120hp?
Has anybody come across this?
Does this make sense?

Thanks

Eli

If it fits in the hole and the wiring matches, it'll work.
