Not tax yet

Fuel rises from 109 ish to the tresent 119 is due to the pound falling against the dollar, and crude oil is priced in dollars. Crude oil is only 84 dollars per barrel as opposed to 140 ish 2 year ago, problem is ou currency and that many European refineries have closed recentlyincreasing costs to refine the black stuff. Tax rise of 3p has been planned a while, it's just the currency has provided awful timing for it to be done now. Bring on the election.

Rant over!

If it's sunny I'd sell the dog to get fuel to get on the water!

Never mind, we can all have our say in May!!

I guess the government steals from the many and then hands it out selectively to those that they think will vote from them.

Not me.

Petrol prices

We got stung big time at Largs marina at the weekend, they are charging 1.30/ltr for petrol.

I'll not be rushing back to the fuel pumps there again! Thats taking the p1ss!

1.20 for a litre now seems like a distant memory, at the moment we are at 1.45 and on our way to 1.50 by next week!! back to the days of a 3.3m and a 15hp I think, or maybe we should introduce green petrol for us!! if only...
