I need to replace the plywood part of an old aux outboard bracket but i cant seem to find any place to get some marine ply the correct depth - none of the DIY shops do it - anyone any ideas?

Cheers

RIBase
There's nowhere local that'll sell an offcut small enough-been there. It might be a better idea to use something other than ply.

Go and find a local boat builder's skip. I used to live just down the road from Broom and their skip was always full of offcuts. Very handy

If that doesn't work, give these guys a ring - K J Howells, 01202 665724. Based in Poole, they've always got off-cuts and would probably post you a bit

My father-in-law mentioned somewhere in Bristol that did marine ply at sensible prices. If you're still stuck, I'll get the details from him.
