We can't take passengers at a race meeting unfortunately - Max Walker got disqualified in Cowes for bringing his family back to the pits on the deck of his 4 litre batboat a couple of years ago!

Mind you the leisure version should be there, and that should be nearly as fast!

If it's cheap (how cheap?) you got a deal if we can get out before the weekend officially starts maybe I can sort out a quick spin?

Did not really want to stop on your toes Mr Hopkins, you'll need all that oil when you get some opti's back on the water! Have you got any further? Tappy and I have decided if you have not got it sorted by May we'll come down and do it for you, just have not decided on your part of the deal yet.

Mr Cooke, sounds good, might you want some from the strange Southampton chap aswell? He might not speak to me otherwise. I'll let you know the best price next week.

Sorry you won't be there - Hope I won't need a berth, but it would be usefull if it's ok with you.

We usually arrive on the Friday late afternoon depending on the traffic betwwen Devon and Ramsgate.

Hope we can at least meet up for a beer - could do with some tips on where to eat drink and stay as well!

You know how people who have just moved into a new home sometimes have a 'Paint the new house Party' and the guests help to decorate the house and then have a party to celebrate? Well, maybe we could do a 'Mend Stu's RIBs Party'?

Nice one Louise, but the words Forlorn hope spring to mind, still if he ever finishes a wee electrical job for me I might fix a couple of them for him

No Dan I don't mind you flogging Oil to Cookee I am just happy he's got an Optimax also we will use it all this season. How much can you get a 45 gallon drum for out of interest.

Also I have been in the Banana Shark...so there!

Just a word of warning though Cookeee has a nasty habit of turfing you out of the boat if there is a bit of totty around who wants a ride. Can't say I blame him though! Be warned you might find yourself clinging to a bouy halfway accross the Channel.

Re Wake up call, the new lump is on the back and firing but we can't fit the leg. It appears to be too long! I'll give you/ Wayne a call as it might be the water pump cover and I am wondering if they are different designs on the saltwater.

Thanks all for the offers of help they are warmly acknowledged.

talking of oil what types are best for 2 stroke efi type engines? There must be mainstream oils far cheaper than the branded mercury and yamaha stuff!

Daniel I am an old fashioned typr of guy so it's gonna be imperial for me

Ozz we are in Saxon Wharf in Southampton, Come up for one of the Solent rib weekends

CodPrawn I don't know enough about Oils to shove something in my engine that isn't reccomended by the manufacturer. but you are probably right it's probably only a synthetic blend. Shell do a reasonable 2 stroke and a TCW3 one as well
