How can I find out the Part Ex/ Sale value of a 5 year old Optimax 90 which had a new powerhead last year?

Thanks in advance.

Can't be worth more than a fiver - I'll give you 20 for it!

Joking aside, is it worth phoning round the dealers? I did that with my car a couple of months ago to test the waters. certainly got a differnet ambient price to what I was seeing on t'net.

Its trade in value is around 2,050 on a new unit, slightly higher than buy-in (i.e you walk in solely to sell without buying another from them) to secure the sale. Retail then with warranty etc from the selling dealer. Private sale = less - usually.

Thing is though, as we all know the 2nd market is quite scarce of decent, modern Outboards, particularly 90hp+ so typically its an easy sell.

Thanks,
It might actually only be 3 years old, how much difference will that make to its value?

Trade in would then be around 2720

This is according to the insurance loss adjusters figures. It would also be a similar figure for stolen payouts etc.
