Yep it's been ok but I have some big changes Ali mainly because Dave is coming so need the space the dash has gone for a small one next to me the seats on a frame & got rid of the tube seat, bow storage is more compact too. Trailer wise if you remember Skye recovering in shallow water was a real pain so I've fitted two wheels instead of the transom bunk I tried them out mid Feb loch feochan game changer for me.
Like I say the SIB is for me I keep playing with it each season and it gets better all part of the fun too

What trailer have you got Craig if you have 1 inch taper bearings you can buy 10 inch sand wheels & tyres wider than normal that's all & road legal and better IMO lower your bunks if you can to suit, mine are about knee height don't know if you know ardoran marine slip loch feochan Oban 26 degrees incline mine floated off with car tyres just wet the wheels on the transom bunk work a treat ( bought a canoe trolley plastic puncture proof tyres) to roll off and on it was a piece of pi$$ on my own yours will be no different the 40 is a bit heavy to my 25 but it won't make any difference always had 40s on our dive SIBS no probs

Yep got the Honda 15hp... just to play rugby league forgotten how old and unfit I am...
Got transom wheels getting local dealer to fit. Heavy duty ones recommended.
Also got a folding trolley it's a bit weak and wobbly.. so off to b and q tomoz to get a sack barrow to modify.
I got a Skoda yeti so a fair bit space when seats out etc.
Also will be using a fiat decato campervan the side door very low so can get it in there .. need some carpet etc..
Can't wait for first trip out .

Good. Last year on our June holiday I somehow forgot the wheels and only had the legs. Amazon Prime to the rescue, I purchased new wheels (£13/pair!!) to save our holiday and marriage, but could only get 10" dia ones with the 20mm axle hole. Same 3" tyre width. BIG difference to the 14" ones, they were forever sinking in sand and getting stuck. Surprising how the small reduction of contact area made life so difficult therefore I was still in trouble. Buyer beware when choosing transom wheels.

Edit: It had a good outcome. Decided to give up pulling our guts out and buy a RIB and trailer.
