Old style Yamaha Paint and Decals

Hi, i have a 1990 Yamaha 2stroke and it is looking scruffy and needs a lick of paint on it. Where can you buy the blue paint? Do you have to get it specially made or is it still produced?

And also where can i get the decals for it as they have faded?

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers

You'll get the paint off ebay. Not sure about decals.

Hi mate i repainted mine a few months back (1991 55hp), bought the paint from pacer marine via ebay about £10 with the p&p, You can leave it as it is but i had mine 2 pack clear laquered at a paint shop which made it look as new and worth the extra few quid. A friend of mine does signs&graphics and before i stripped the old ones off i gave him the cover and he took all the sizes/fonts etc and knocked some new ones up ready. Dead easy to apply and puts the rest of the boat to shame now! If you are struggling i can check and see if he's still got mine saved on the computer? regards Alan
