That appears to refer to service related oils and lubes, not fuel oils.

My reading of it would be gearbox oils, marine grease etc.

NOTE: If the motor is set for XD100, then obviously there is no unbranded alternative. IIRC, the engine settings in the BRP engine software are TC-W3 or XD100. It's been a while since I saw it though...

I have just looked at one of my saved diagnostic reports from the software and it says "Oil Ratio: TC-W3"

Etecs can run on ANY TCW3 certified oil when they are set to run TCW3. It doesn't have to be BRP oil, this is stated in the owners manual. It won't void your warranty using non-BRP TCW3 oil.
