The upshot is,they ARE still available-while current stocks last-so if you want one, grab one. The spares/dealer network etc will still be available. I wouldn't be surprised if they hold their value rather well too as they are in demand because of the better power/weight ratio.

Couldn't agree more - might try to buy an 18hp Tohatsu and flog my 15hp Suzki IF I can find one at the right price!!!

Clin Hoolihan; Must say I'm bowled over by the responses, thanks everyone.

What is this I am hearing about not being able to buy two-strokes etc
new legislation?

Some countries like USA, Canada, don't know about Europe are not importing any more 2 strokes engines, because of Government pullution envirenment control, help mother earth. So buy while stocks lasts...

Al least Tohatsu is selling their 2 strokes along with their 4 in the rest of the third world...cheers!!!

So transporting your rib is not a big problem, good for your family and you. Accordingly strictly to price you can choose a Tohatsu 15 or 18 HP, the difference price gap must be very short if the Company is not making a big profit for the extra 3 HP. Both are simple and excellent tough engines.

We sell a Toh 18 HP for the price of a Yam 15 and a Toh 30 HP for the price of a Yam 25, that is we give for free 3 & 5 HP respectively including a free impeller and head gasket, just in case.

Happy Boating
