My steering cable broke this weekend

i have just installed a new steering system
in my tornado 5.8 with a 140hp evinrude
it works great its from tfx named no feedback 4,2 rotary

you don,t feel the force of the motor
with high waves and hard turns
if you release the steering wheel it holds his position that,s very nice

with the old steering system it was very dangerous at high speeds too release you hands from the wheel

No-feedback systems are essential for any large outboard -- I'm surprised that your original steering wasn't like this.

Your old system must have been very exciting

How much did it cost?

The IBS(www.inflatable-boat-supplies.fsnet.co.uk) sell a Hydraulic Steering Kit (IBS330) rated to 85 HP
for 259£.
Is it good?
