Mercury are keeping that code/formulation close to their chest....
Will be doing the whole cowl so jet black might be the best option.

take a part of the cowl/plastic anything into a good paint shop and they will mix you up an exact rattle can match for about 20 quid....good enough for a galloping horse anyway

all the merc paint codes were put on a bulletin years ago, and the bulletin will be on every dealers computer when they load the EPC, it is/was automatically loaded on to the hard drive. As Im retired I cannot get the code for you.

Had a reply.
Ditzler is American, not available in the UK so can't be mixed using the above formula. (The Jet black should be OK but in most mixing systems there are several blues & whites & you'd need to know which one).
Would be necessary to have the paint matched to the part either by an eyematch or spectrophotometer.
Wonder what Henry Ford - 'any colour you like as long as it's black - would make of it
