Mercury 50hp blowing fuses

Keeps blowing the 20amp fuse when I use tilt and trim? Anyone had similar problems

dis-connect your power/trim and tilt and see if it is still blowing if it is i would suspect the ptrim and tilt electric moter water ingression, if not find which curcuit is blowing disconnect everything on that curcuit and connect one at a time, or look for an obvius power to earth skorching.

Alan, found it I believe, I had a loose/rusted battery terminal, replaced and rewired rusted terminals and so far so good. Thanks ruari
