I don't know, but if I had 1000 to spend on a 15HP 2str I wouldn't be buying one that's had a major issue/repair. If its running like new, and everything is perfect again (was it you that had melted wiring?) then I'd guess its 800. If its scruffy less. If its not running perfectly and testable at sea less again.

I got mine for 400 quid with a 3 month warranty... But that was cheap

What's the point?? Say the engine runs great and you get 800.you going to buy another engine that you haven't a clue what its history is? It could be another written off abused engine like yours? If your engine ends up not running right will you be happy selling it to someone that may rely on it in the sea?

If its not running well, your not going to get much for it. Make sure your straight with the potential buyer though..
