Dai, if the weather is half decent on the weekend lets try and meet up somewhere and give the little uns a run.

blue thru

Try using a blue-thru fush kit. No need to take prop off and it works well. Not too expensive either. It cost me 40.99

Cliff,

You've posted 3 times since joining Ribnet, all 3 posts recommending blue-thru flushing kit. Some of these threads are pretty old (e.g. This one).

Since blue-thru are based on the IOW and you also seem to be, are you connected in any way?
