Mercury 135 Trim Motor

As some of you know I've been having a dodgy trim motor for some time!

I didn't fix it cause the guys at Barrus were having a laugh at the price for the parts!!! £640 for parts and labour was £75/h. Now I'm sorry there was no way I was paying that kinda wonga for a magnet, copper coil, and some carbon brushes!!!!

So after a trawl on the web came up with this company http://www.arcomarine.com/index.htm
(Thanks to Stewart for pointing me in the right direction)

They helped me find the part I wanted and arranged shipping for a total of $260 USD. It arrived at Heathrow on Tuesday after placing the order on Friday and was fitted in three hours the same evening by a total mechanical muppet - me!

So if you have a prob with your trim motor I cannot recommend them enough and it will save you a tidy fortune!!!!
