Mercruiser 2.8 D-Tronics 165HP Diesel - Any opinions?
Hi guys,
Sorry not really RIB related, im currently looking at a Mercruiser 2.8 165HP (Crank) D-Tronic Turbo Diesel (2001) Does anyone have any opinions/experience with these?

I currently have the Merc 1.7DTI and I know that these engine are full of problems, eventhough ive been lucky and my 1.7 goes like stink, I don't want to be buying another potential problem engine

Any opinions/experience much appreciated!

Forgot to mention she's coupled with a Bravo II Stern-Drive... Any horror stories here?
