merc v6 crank seals

can any one enlighten me
i have broken a crank sealing ring whilst moving stuff around my garage, question is do i have to change all seven or just the one?

i am not being tight but i know where there is 2 but not the seven, with out ordering them in another 7 days, w ait (iwant to hear it bloody running)

again Simon @ http://www.ribsmarineparts.co.uk/ has been proven to be golden supplying over size pistons gaskets etc

Assuming you have to move the crank to get it out, (and if the design is anything like the clamshell you will) I would change the lot - you'll never get the rest to re - seal properly once they have been moved.

Short term pain for long term gain

V6 Crank sealing rings can be reused. You only need to change the broken one. But fit new crank oil seals obviously.
