1993 Belgium built. Only part they ever seem to need is Plugs (slight exaggeration). Great reliable engines that go on forever!

Hope that helps :thumbs

Interesting, I punched your serial number into Mercury's computer and it say yes its was registered on 26.03.93. Only thing is it says is a 25hp not a 90hp!!

1993 25hp is listed as 09741764 > 09792200 ( correction 09792199 ) on my list, seems odd...

will check my other lists/cd

you must when order parts quote the serial number on all merc/mar obms, there are a lot of parts that are compatable but to be on the safe side use the serial number

Perhaps not in this case as the serial number seems to come back to a 25hp according to the MERC dealer.

if it is the clam shell 90 there might be a problem with some internal p/h and g/h parts but the initianal basic service parts should be no problem ,i would as an owner would like to find out if it was a mistake at the factory, enquirey through the distributer to the factory, dont go to the factory direct they will send it back to the distributer. New serial number

Thanks for that, the number is quite hard to read but it could be 9758107 does that tally up to a 90 rather than a 25?
Thanks again
