Mariner remote shift cables

Hi does any one know if there are identification marks on the gear/throttle cables for a mariner to quicksliver remote?

Need to replace the cables and have no idea what they are.
I can measure the length but if there are any id marks that would help.

any Ideas?

most cables have a part number and length embossed into them at one end. What colour are they?

Hi Jezza, just on the offchance that they fit, I have a pair of brand new ones for a q'silver remote kicking around.....will go and see what size etc......

Okay, they are 850716-A series and are 16 foot long (a pair of them....) Still in their box......we used a top mount not side mount...... Have the side mount controls kicking about somwhere too if anyone needs?

ID if generaly at the engine end, check about a foot after the cables come out of the engine and will probable show the size in ft, we have most in stock and are only on your doorstep if it helps.
