mariner 40 elpt 1999 2 stroke

hello chums, my mariner has no split pin on prop nut, no hole, no nuffin.... i have read the 30s to 70s dont have them , they have a lock tab. enlighten me please oh clever ones

Hi ,From memory you should have on the prop two pins that stick out.You then need a s/steell elongated washer that locates ont these this washer also has two lugs the bend up against the final locking nut.hope this helps
