Mariner 150EFI spares/repair
I have a 2004 mariner 150EFI which has suffered catastrophic failure. Someone failed to react to the overtemp warning after the oil suction line developed a split.
I believe all 6 compressions are low and know for certain that one conrod has severed as this piston does not move and there is a telltale "clink" every rotation by hand of the flywheel.
I believe all electrical and fuel components to be in good order.
The shaft is XL and has suffered some corrosion as the previous owner lost interest and left the leg lowered for some time. The power trim and tilt functions fine.
The motor is in north east Spain at the moment.
