Magic engine restoring oil on ebay.....

Does this stuff actually do anything to your worn out engine?

What do you reckon? There's a Lilliputian outboard mechanic in the can who does a rebore and fits over-size rings before leaping out through the exhaust port and swimming back to the Ametech canning works to be re-tinned for the next happy customer!

Cynical, moi?

I would imagine that this stuff would actually work for a very short time - it will set around worn rings and scratched in the piston and probably give you a great performing engine untill it all starts to burn off and break away.

A bit like putting saw dust in a noisy gearbox to deaden the sound.

Probably a great idea if you have a nackered engine - treat it with this ready for when you sell it (hmm dont suppose any one will ever buy an engine for me ever again)

RIBase
Depends what engine you have.

If you have a knackered old engine that's not worth anything it might be worth a try before skipping it?

I have an old (20 years) 4hp yamaha in my parents garage that is low on compression. Probably worth £8.99 to have a go.

Not putting it anywhere near my Opti though!
