lower leg removal mercury 50

thought I would have a go at changing impellor as I thought it might be straight forward....well nothings that easy, undone 2 nuts on the side and the one under anode, the leg has dropped about 7mm but now seems stuck!
Is their something else I have missed to undo , or is it just jammed with corrosion, any input grately appreciated ..Mercury 50 87 3 cylinder

Your gearchange rod is probably holding it. This needs to be disconnected to allow the leg to come away.
